Overview: this project aims at expanding the port of Shaoguan into a comprehensive foreign trade port with the designed handling capacity of one million tons per year. The major constructionstructures includea container berth (with the water front of 60 meters), three (3) berths for general merchandise (with the water front of 146meters) and three (3) berths for bulk goods (with the water front of 141 meters). Thetotal lengthof the dock will be 347meters and the structure is designed in compliance with the Class II construction standard. The civil construction area will be1800squaremeters intotal.

Infrastructure available at the construction site: the existing dock has excellent basic conditions with the best water depth in the city. The water front line is long and straight and the water level of the dock basin and flow rate are of stable changes the year round. The water channel is of high quality and high class with excellent water transportationconditions.
